Each course consists of a (i) Study Guide, (ii) Student Pack, (iii) Optional Text books, (iv) Optional Media (audio-tapes/video-tapes).

The Study Guide:
To replace a live lecture, ICI College has developed the Study Guide system. These study guides are written by highly qualified and experienced lecturers and authors. The study guides are divided into units which each consist of lessons. Evaluation is done at the end of each lesson and unit. Degree courses require the reading of at least one textbook which the study guide coaches the student through. Upon completion of the course an assignment is completed (worth 20% of the final grade) and an exam (80% of the final grade).

Student Pack:
The Student Pack contains the answers to each lesson test, and the Unit Progress Evaluations (UPEs).

Text Books:
ICI College provides the student with a discount Koorong Bookstore card which entitles the student to a substantial discount on the required textbooks.
